Turmeric Capsules are a Supplement

Dietary supplements are food products you can take to boost your nutrient intake and support your body's functions. They offer additional nutrients or specific constituents to complement what you already get from your regular meals, helping you work towards your individual health goals.

Types of Supplements

Supplements come in various forms, including:

  • Powder: Fine, loose, dried form of the supplement, often mixed with liquids or added to foods.
  • Pill or Tablet: Compressed powder form of the supplement, designed for easy swallowing.
  • Capsule: A gelatinous shell encasing the powdered or liquid form of the supplement.
  • Gelcap or Softgel: A soft, pliable capsule containing liquid or oil-based supplement ingredients.
  • Liquid: A concentrated liquid suspension of the supplement, often taken directly or mixed with beverages.
  • Tincture: A liquid of herbs or other substances, typically made by soaking the material in alcohol, glycerine, vinegar, or oil and extracting.
  • Gummies: Chewable supplements with a gummy-like texture, often flavored and sweetened.
  • Chewables: Similar to gummies, chewable supplements are designed to be chewed before swallowing.
  • Effervescent Tablets: Tablets that dissolve in water, creating a fizzy drink containing the supplement.
  • Strips: Thin, dissolvable strips that are placed on the tongue to deliver the supplement.
  • Drops: Liquid supplements dispensed in drop form, often taken under the tongue or added to food or drinks.
