Deer antler velvet (DAV) is a fast growing bone on bucks, stags and bulls that is covered in velvety fuzz. The whole antler is harvested before it hardens in the summer and is called a 'stick'.
Many cultures use this soft bone-stick because it contains vital and unique nutrition that feeds the quick regeneration and normal growth of tissues in the body.
'Lu Rong' is the Traditional Chinese Medicine name for pilose deer antler.
Types: Sika deer, red deer, reindeer, and wapiti elk
Cultures: All world cultures, especially Asian, Russian and Arabian.
Sources: Worldwide, in particular, New Zealand, China, Canada, and Australia. Commercial sale from regulated ranches and farm collectives. Non-commercial use from the wild
After DAV sticks are painlessly removed without harming the animal, they are drained of blood, sanitized, preserved and prepared to be eaten as both a food and a supplement.
For thousands of years, many cultures traditionally included the use of DAV as an ingredient in cooking; nowadays, it is used as a powdered supplement, and more recently as a dual water and alcohol extract.
DAV use for joint and bone health is common. It is given to children to promote full healthy growth. The elderly use it as an anti-aging tonic to promote youthfulness.
In China and Russia sliced DAV is extracted into water and alcohol for circulation and performance benefits; traditionally used to promote warmth during the winter months and in people with slow metabolisms. 'Panty' is the Russian name for this alcohol liquid extract.
Olympic Russian athletes first used the alcohol liquid extract of DAV for physical strength during training and competitive power-lifting performances.
Modern athletes, weight trainers and bodybuilders use DAV to promote joint health, muscular regeneration and a progressive increase in muscular size and strength through training.

What does Deer Antler Velvet do?
The nutrients in deer antler velvet work with the body to support, promote and maintain joints, cardiovascular circulation, sex, adrenal, growth, and regeneration hormones, immune function, sexual function, muscular strength, healthy bones, skin, nails and hair, and the repair of injuries.
Joint Health, Repair and Discomfort
DAV constituents, such as glucosamine, chondroitin, and manganese, support joint integrity and repair while reducing joint discomfort.
In DAV, trace and electrolyte minerals benefit heart contraction and vascular integrity. Amino acids also support normal blood pressure. And the lipids preserved in the alcohol liquid extract of DAV support circulation.
In DAV, combined nutrients, such as selenium, zinc, growth factors, cholesterol, fatty acids and so on, benefit hormone production to promote adrenal stress-resistance and growth hormones. Sex hormones are also supported, including testosterone in males, and estrogen and progesterone balancing in females.
DAV promotes strength and stamina of genitals in both sexes due to electrolytes and lipids preserved in the alcohol extract; better pelvic circulation in women and erection blood-flow in men being the result.
Rapid Regeneration and Injury Repair
In DAV, hyaluronic acid and growth factors, such as igf's 1 and 2, promote injury recovery, bodily tissues repair, and normal bodily growth support.
Muscle Strength and Repair
In DAV, electrolyte minerals support muscle contraction and relaxation for posture, strength, and stamina. The alcohol liquid extract of DAV is recommended for reduced muscle discomfort and increased muscle repair.
Bone Health and Repair
Absorbable and active minerals in DAV are used for bone health.
Skin, Hair and Nail Health
DAV gives noticeable benefit to skin, hair, and nails from continuous consumption, due to hyaluronic acid, amino acids, and zinc for nails.
DAV contains amino acids that supply material for immune cells and polysaccharides that strengthen the immune system by increasing circulation into more difficult to reach bone marrow tissues.
Red Blood Cells
DAV will promote circulation into bone marrow tissues for increased production of red blood cells and greater oxygenation of the body. This will support energy levels and performance.
